Always Remember

10 years ago yesterday marked the event that has changed every single person's life on this earth.  No longer can we just walk through airports without first being scanned or patted down, no longer can we go into museums or important buildings without having to take everything out of our pockets and go through several metal detectors.  No longer is it okay to just let your kids play outside without strict supervision.  No longer do people look at Arabs without at least a little fear.  The world is a different place because of the horrific attacks on the World Trade Centers 10 years ago.

Thank you to all those firefighters, police officers and military and everyday citizens who helped the people in the event and and died serving.  Thank you to them for all their service and work they do to keep our country safe today.  We are ever so grateful for the thousands of Soldiers fighting to defend our freedoms.  While this country is a different place, the freedom is worth the stricter security

These truly are the last days and that is ever present with all the natural disasters and wars.  Many people have been effected by the recent Hurricane Irene, on the East coast with torrential rains and many more miles inland.  Texas, just a few miles from my parents home there have been raging wildfires that have been going on for over a week that are not quite contained yet.  And recently, the earthquake and tsunami in Japan that killed and effected thousands.  We must never lose sight of how fragile our earthly life really is.

God Bless all those families who have lost loved ones in the wars or natural disasters of the world.

And God Bless those Soldiers still fighting for our freedom, Thank you for your service.
